One Ring to Rule them all...

Three Rings for the Elven-kings under the sky,
Seven for the Dwarf-lords in their halls of stone,
Nine for the Mortal Men doomed to die,
One for the Dark Lord on his Dark Throne
In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie.
One Ring to Rule them all, One Ring to find them,
One Ring to bring them all and the darkness bind them
In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie.

I went yesterday and saw the movie Fellowship of the Ring, based on J.R.R. Tolkein's classic, Lord of the Rings. This is NOT about the differences between the book and the movie. Tolkien Purists, put your flamethrowers AWAY.

I know that there are differences between the book and the movie; that the producers removed some scenes, changed a few others around, and whatnot. This rant is not about that, it's about a damn good movie.I know that some people will watch the movie, not knowing about the book, and enjoy the movie. I know that some people will watch the movie, and nitpick about every little detail that is different, and come out grumpy. I know that some people, like me, will watch the movie, knowing about the differences, and enjoy the hell out of a well made movie, because they are watching the movie for the entertainment of it, and not to dissect it like a frog in some high school biology class. That's no fun.

Now on the the movie review itself. the movie kicked ass. Go watch it.
