This is a quiver tree, aloe dichotoma. Its not a arizona native, its from South Africa.

Sadly, this was the best I could get of the fire pillar. Its HUGE, and drew a large amount of people rubber-necking around it.

This sculpture is called "Belugas". they dont looks like whales__. :D

We *do* have water plant life here in the desert; its not all sand, cacti, and scraggly brush. :) A lot of people (myself included) thought the greenish cylinders behind the boat were just rocks or something. Oops.
