Tigerpaw
I kept looking at the old were in George's office. The memory of the Prophecy, Mother's words, and everything. The were took down his hood. He looked younger then I! A chuckle escaped my muzzle, and quickly stopped after looking in his eyes. The eyes.... I saw... everything through those eyes. My past. My true past. Locked memories flooded back, memories that although I had kept shoved down deep inside me came flooding back and presented themselves. I broke contact with him, and saw heavily on the seat, which groaned at it's sudden load. "And Now. You see your true self. The Broken Prophecy. Human, but more then human. Tigerean, but more then Tigerean. Your mother's words were not entirely incorrect. The Order does not know of your existence. If they did, you'd most likely be murdered in secret, so that they could continue their search for The One from Tigrean stock. You are The One. I need you to help recruit the Many, and eventually gain the Whole, so we can turn back invaders from another galaxy whose sole purpose to consume life. Will you, Shaft, and George help me?"

The Nexus
The über-were looked at me as he sat, his mind aflame with thought. He looked at me, then over to George, then over to terrified were-ursine. He coughed lightly, and then stated "Yes. I will lead the Many. I will do what must be done." I looked at Shaft. He spoke up right away, with no trace of stutter. "I was contacted by my parents several days ago. They occasionally leave the wild to communicate with me. They told me that they were contacted by a member of the Un-ending Trinity and to help them fight whatever creatures are threatening us." I nodded, and turned to George. George sighed.

"I'll be glad to provide unofficial assistance to you. Hell, that's what Omega does. I'll talk to the President and see what the U.S. can do. He's a cautious one, though, and will need proof of these invaders, and the time table that you expect them to be here. If they are as bad as you are telling us, we are going to need to move smartly on this." He picked up a phone, and dialed a few numbers. After a brief conversation, He spoke up again. "I'm going to visit with the President tomorrow afternoon, so You will need to get as much information to me as possible." I smiled politely. "Not a problem. I'll have a box here by the end of today, with all the information I presently have." I pulled a seemly ordinary phone from my pocket, and accessed a speed-dial. "James, I need an info box. This location. Oh, 20 minutes? Great. Thanks." I put the phone away, and stepped a few feet to the left. The now vacent space started to blow, an errie green transparent cube marking where the box would be delivered. "Well, I must take your two away from you. Here is my card. You may reach me or James, day or night, at this number." I flicked out a card, and handed it to George. I muttered a few words and opened the gate to the staging area.

The Wilds
It had been a long day. fortunately, it was most productive. Most of the wild that was left in this state were well organized. Most agreed to help right away. The leaders of all this organization appeared to be a pair of bears that had a son in the Army's secret fighting group. THey had been exchanging messages with him for a while, and at my request for help, came forward with a large amount of support. Satisfied, I left them and opened the gate back to home, and waited for Tigra and James. I secretly wondered if they had as good luck as I had...

Antioch, Il.
I had been trying to recruit a few more hunters for Omega. What a strange day it had been. Werecreatures were coming out of the woodwork, it seemed. Most had the look of humans that just had their were-side awakened in them. I was sitting in the parking lot of a home improvement store having lunch when a tallish human came up to me. He spoke with a British accent, and he carried himself rather proudly. "Darkwolf? My name is James. I've been looking for you all day. Do you have a moment? I have a job opening for you." I was puzzled. Most people had no clue whoor what I was. I looked like some ordinary person, when I was not wearing the fur coat. Aside from a few odd mannerisms now and again, most did'nt even notice. I motioned for James to have a seat. "Have a seat, unless you are in a hurry. Want a hot dog?" He graciously accepted, and after he had eaten, filled me in on the details.

"You may not be aware of this, but the world is heading toward a major war. I'm recruiting help to fight this war. I need your help as one of the Many. We've already spoken to the Old Man. He's told us to take whom we need. I know about your past. I know that You are an Omega, an outcast. Did you know that you are the last of your clan? No? Disease took the rest of your pack ten years ago. Most of these newly Awakened need a clan. You can lead them. I see it in your eyes. You were born to lead, but defered to whomever was in lead." I was stunned. My jaw worked a few times before I found my voice, now rough from my unconsious shift to morphic. "I... was the Beta Male, before I was outcast. I see nobility in your eyes. I will follow you wherever you may lead me." James cut in. "Not where I lead. My time is almost over. I can no longer lead. My time to lead is over. The One will lead you. You've met him, recruited him from this very area. Can you not guess who it is?" I thought for a minute. It had to be him. "Tigerpaw. It all falls into place now. I'll go where he leads." James nodded. "Good. We have work to do." He muttered a word in a language I've never heard, and after a small flash, a hole opened up in front of us to somewhere else. "I've never seen an open use of magic before. I've heard about such things, but... wow." James looked at me, and smiled. "Magic has returned to this world as well as weres. Come, let's go."
